Dev Patel puts his all into Monkey Man and it shows- it's a good mix of elements that come together to make a good film. It's not quite John Wick or Jason Bourne but very much resembles both. If you like those two, you'll also like Monkey Man.

Spaceman is a movie that should have been better, simply put. It has an interesting mix of elements- Adam Sandler in a serious role (which he's done to great success many times before), a man in space left forced to reflect on his failing marriage, and an element of what is real vs what is not real during his revelatory trip. If you've seen Solaris, you've seen this movie. Carey Mulligan is incredible, as always.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is exactly what you think it would be- large beasties in a slugfest with other large beasties with a humungous death toll to civilians in the city as buildings crumble from collateral damage. There's an evil monkey with a bone whip, an ancient Ice Titan and many other terrors to keep our bromance duo busy. If that doesn't pull you in, then this movie just isn't for you.
