This is a big week and vey historic week for cinema. A once great franchise gets an attempt at a return to form- Terminator: Dark Fate is a direct sequel to T2: Judgement Day from 1991. Does it hold up? Roger is actually kinder to this one that I am. If you love the masterpieces that are The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), give a listen to see what happened with Dark Fate. I could take for 6 hours,but Roger won't let me. Probably for the best.

A man who once defined the Blockbuster for a decade or more is back, after some time, in Gemini Man- only it's only average and maybe a little disappointing. Click in and have a listen- see why we thought mediocre best describes it. Adam Divine is pretty great in Jexi opposite Rose Byrne, who voices the evil and vindictive, Jexi- phone personality. We continue into this week with another great movie to talk about and one that lacks is story but makes up for it with firepower, that Rambo-ness you've come to expect. Ad Astra asks some great questions of the audience and is quite the experience with beautiful visuals and journey of one man looking for his father. Rambo: Last Blood gives you just what you'd expect from a Rambo movie BUT lacks story and emotional center, which would't be a problem except Rambo (2008) gave us those too.

The calm before the storm.
