He is a pioneer in the film industry and a leader in new tech. You absolutely have to pay attention when he releases a film. 2009's Avatar was no exception.

Pinocchio, as told by Disney, has always had an impact and probably how most people know the story. Guillermo del Toro's telling is much darker and, probably, more accurate to the source material. It's AMAZING and a what you'd expect from the wonderful director. Disney, take note, please. PLEASE.

One of the latest originals from Netflix is a film about dreams, grief, and adventure with a cast led by Jason Mamoa. It's alright, given the content. Kyle Chandler is, without a doubt, the best thing in it and he's only there for a combined 6 minutes or less, unfortunately.

Santa Clause has to stop evil ex military people from hurting innocent and precious believers in the magic in an ultra violent way. Yes. David Harbour is wonderful in the role as well as his supporting cast. This film is a great time!

20 years ago and older, a Disney animated film was cause for celebration and a night out at the movies. You always knew a certain quality was there. You could count on it. These days, not so much, and that is a real shame. Strange World leaves many things to be desired, unfortunately. This isn't 2000 anymore.

Will and Ryan. Ryan and Will. Bros for sure. Spirited brings a fun holiday musical both hilarious and up beat. Sure it suffers from simple problems like story beats and characters not really making sense, but to there ARE some very clever moments. Like Jacob Marley asking them not to breakout into song every time they have a new development in the plot. Tracey Morgan is no Norm McDonald, but he's an okay death. As always, Ryan Reynolds is worth the time spent. Maybe not Will Ferrell but he's not bad either.
